Recognised as one of the world’s best and most charismatic viola players, Maxim Rysanov is the current Classic FM Gramophone Young Artist of the Year. Maxim has performed with the world’s finest orchestras, makes regular appearances as a chamber artist at major festivals. His new CD of Brahms viola works (Onyx) also features Katya Apekisheva.  Maxim is currently a member of the BBC New Generation artist scheme.

Katya Apekisheva is one of Europe's foremost pianists, in demand internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, and has been described by Gramophone magazine as 'a profoundly gifted artist'. Her solo CD release of Grieg solo piano works in 2008 has received over-whelming critical acclaim. She is a regular guest at major chamber music festivals around the world including the Leicester International Music Festival.
